Mike Liverton

English born and raised, Mike's interest and expertise in telecoms and technology stems from his school days, An entrepreneur from his late teens, Mike spent 20 insightful years in both mobile phone and commerce markets in the UK, but the call from the mountains, lakes and year-round abundance of outdoor activities saw Mike up-sticks to Canmore, the Canadian Rockies in 2006.

Although a self-confessed work-a-holic, Mike will always allow time for the outdoors. Passionate about exploring Western Canada's pristine mountains, hiking, mountain biking and carving it up in the snow, this Brit makes the most of his home in beautiful Canmore, Alberta as well as regular visits to Vancouver- especially when the sun is shining!



Matt Harper-Ward

UK born and bred, Matt was quick to gain experience from leaving school in the field of telecommunication engineering. He is career begun in the field of sales and by the early 90s enjoyed huge success in achieving vast targets for various corporates. 

In 1994, Matt expanded his success with another business partner by the name of Malcolm Tapp. The 2 business men took up the opportunity to create an innovative company that skilfully merged the field of mobile & fixed telecommunications.

Some years later, the Sprint UK Group of companies has grown by franchising, partnerships, affiliations and subsidiaries. Most recently, more partners have joined the Board of Directors, aiding the expansion into the field of IT and Telematics. Growing the organisation further with the acquisition of 2 IT companies has made Matt's company one of the most successful and diverse in their field.



Our Aim

With skiing and snowboarding being the 2 main mountain snow sports, we hope to introduce FATblades as the 3rd alternative sport by combining and developing the 2.

We want to create a huge impression in the snow sports market with the introduction of a product which is easy and great fun to use! FATblades is the new alternative way to enjoy a recreational snow sports holiday.
